Uniswap, a leading Ethereum-based decentralized exchange, has announced the launch of its native Layer 2 chain, Unichain, promising faster and lower-fee transactions.

Uniswap Launches Native L2 Chain, Unichain, Offering Fast and Low-Fee Transactions

Uniswap, one of the most liquid apps and a highly active smart contract on Ethereum, has recently launched its native L2 chain, Unichain. The launch arrived just days after Uniswap unrolled V4 and included it in its standard swap routing. Unichain promises fast and low-fee transactions, built for cross-chain liquidity, and prioritizes decentralization. Users can now deploy DeFi apps, launch tokens, swap, provide liquidity, and more on the Unichain mainnet.

Ethereum Price Forecast: ETH risks a decline to $2,200 as selling pressure increases

Ethereum price today is at $2,620, facing the risk of a decline to $2,200 due to increased selling pressure from long-term holders. Over the past three days, these holders have distributed over 300,000 ETH. However, whales have been buying the dip, with Ethereum exchange reserves plunging by over 800,000 ETH in the past week. If ETH fails to overcome the $2,817 resistance, it could experience a further decline. The on-chain data for Ethereum shows mixed sentiment among long-term holders and whales.

Ethereum Whales Holding Over 10,000 ETH Grow Since February 1st – Accumulation Signal?

Ethereum has struggled below the $2,800 mark since last Thursday, with bears maintaining control as the price remains beneath key supply levels. This bearish price action has shaken investor confidence, with many anticipating a bullish year for Ethereum in 2025. Last week’s selling pressure has compounded fears, and ETH has struggled to reclaim lost ground. The current market sentiment reflects growing uncertainty, as Ethereum fails to show signs of a strong recovery. Investors worry that ETH’s underperformance could persist, especially compared to Bitcoin and other altcoins showing relative strength. Questions arise whether Ethereum can regain its bullish momentum.

Ethereum Struggles to Reclaim $3,000 as Exchange Supply Hits Six-Month Low

Ethereum is facing challenges to reclaim the $3,000 mark as the supply of ETH on exchanges reaches a six-month low. Technical indicators, such as the DMI, suggest a weakening trend with both bullish and bearish pressures subsiding in recent days. The ADX, a key measure of trend strength, has declined from 33.8 to 27.5, indicating a loss of momentum. This could potentially set the stage for a recovery attempt as reduced selling pressure and accumulation are signaled by the low exchange supply.
